Not one to be outdone by anyone in the MAGA circle, including Donald Trump himself, Erika Kirk pledged to match $1,000 per Trump Account for the children of Turning Point USA employees. The accounts, which were announced by the U.S. Department of Treasury, offer index investment accounts for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028 with an automatic $1,000 deposit from the U.S. government.

The time frame is, of course, in direct correlation with Trump’s second term in the White House. The idea is that, by the time these children retire, these investments will have grown to around $500,000 at least. Now, Erika revealed on X (formerly Twitter), she is offering money to children too, but they have to be part of the Turning Point USA family. Duh.

On Jan. 28, 2026, Erika shared her X post to announce her plans as the CEO of Turning Point USA to stand with Trump and the Trump Accounts for children in the U.S. She wrote about the importance of family to her and late husband Charlie Kirk and shared her plans to help invest in the futures of children herself. Did she start to feel irrelevant or something? She needed attention this badly? Alright, then.

While some responded to the X post to praise Erika and her plans to help invest in the children of her employees, others took the chance to pounce on her for the inconsistencies they see in her choices in the wake of husband Charlie’s death.

“He also spoke so often of stay at home moms and how important it is for the children and the future of our country to have stay at home moms,” one user wrote, and some echoed the sentiment.

Someone else added, “Well since you fired most of them, this won’t cost much.” This is in reference to claims from Candace Owens that the organization fired multiple employees despite an alleged family first mentality.

“Why are you announcing this on X and not just sending a company email lol…You guys are so obvious with the damage control,” another user responded.

The Kelly Clarkson Show is coming to an end after its currently airing seventh season.The show’s conclusion was Clarkson’s decision. In a statement thanking her crew and fans, she said, “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”

The news comes after the 2025 death of Brandon Blackstock, who was her ex-husband and former manager as well as the father of her two children. Blackstock, who battled cancer for three years, was 48.

Production on Season 7 of The Kelly Clarkson Show will continue as previously planned, with the series airing its final episodes this fall.

The season will also feature special guest hosts to be announced at a later date.

Clarkson’s full statement reads, “I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at The Kelly Clarkson Show, both in Los Angeles and New York. There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner. Because of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting The Kelly Clarkson Show. Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives. This isn’t goodbye. As Prince Harry testified in a London Court Wednesday, January, 28, 2026, getting tearful about “the misery” his wife, Meghan Markle, suffered at the hands of negative coverage by the Daily Mail, that U.K. tabloid and other publications were questioning whether he and Meghan had a role in Brooklyn Beckham’s decision to publicly lambast his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and to blow up his relationship with them.

So, no one is saying that Harry and Meghan actively encouraged their young friend, Brooklyn Beckham, to launch a social media tirade against his father and mother Monday — in which he said he had no wish to reconcile with them while accusing them of “controlling” him his entire life and of trying to ruin his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

But multiple publications have addressed the growing friendship between the California-based Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the younger celebrity couple. And, they noted the obvious similarities in the “narratives” of Harry and Brooklyn.

Forty-one-year-old Harry, like 26-year-old Brooklyn, became estranged from his prominent British family after marrying a glamorous American actress, whom he claims received a cold welcome. Harry, like Brooklyn, also decamped to the United States in an effort to get away from a global family brand that he found oppressive. Moreover, Harry, like Brooklyn, wanted to establish his own identity and path to financial self-sufficiency. At the same time, both Harry and Brooklyn have chosen to air their grievances against their families in the most sensational way possible.

It was widely reported in May that Brooklyn and Nicola were becoming friendly with Harry and Meghan. People and other outlets described how the two couples hung out together at a dinner party in the Sussexes’ hometown of Montecito, amid “tensions” with Brooklyn’s family. A source told People: “Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous.”

Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan asked on Wednesday whether “nepo baby” Brooklyn “sought counsel on how to most effectively publicly humiliate your family of origin” when he and Nicola met up with Harry and Meghan at the dinner party. She also noted that Harry has “some skin in the game” after experiencing a reported falling-out with David and Victoria Beckham after they were among the celebrity guests at his May 2018 royal wedding. Harry apparently accused the Beckhams of leaking stories about Meghan to the media, according to reports.

At the same time, David Beckham’s friendship with Harry’s father, King Charles has grown, with the former Manchester United soccer legend being “a staunch monarchist,” and the two patriarchs bonding over shared their interests in gardening and philanthropy, InStyle reported. In November, Charles rewarded Beckham for his loyalty to the U.K. — and maybe to him personally — with a knighthood. Charles himself performed the ceremony at Windsor Castle, which Sir David Beckham said was “my proudest moment.”

Now, in the wake of Brooklyn’s bombshell Instagram post, celebrity journalist and gossip columnist Rob Shuter reported on his Naughty but Nice Substack that Harry had indeed “quietly stepped into an unexpected mentoring role” for the young man, as he’s tried to navigate his estrangement from his family.

“Harry sees a lot of himself in Brooklyn,” an insider told Shuter, saying that Harry had given Brooklyn “personal and professional” advice.

According to multiple sources, Harry urged Brooklyn to proceed with caution, and to think carefully “about timing and tone” if he chose to make a public statement about his family dynamics. As Harry advised Brooklyn to protect his mental health, he also said: “Don’t burn everything at once. You only get one chance to tell your story the right way.”

Maybe Brooklyn was ready to “burn everything at once,” as Shuter also reported that Harry had put him in touch with the publisher of his controversial memoir, “Spare.” In apparently suggesting that the Beckhams’ oldest son could write his own tell-all, Harry also advised that “honesty works best when it’s controlled, thoughtful, and human.”

People will debate whether Harry’s memoir — about growing up as the second son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana and the younger brother of Prince William — was honest, controlled or thoughtful. Amanda Dobbins and Juliet Litman of The Ringer Dish podcast also questioned whether Brooklyn’s scorched-earth attack on his parents will ultimately bring him the personal peace and satisfaction he apparently seeks.

Dobbins and Litman also brought up “the similarity” in the narratives of Harry and Brooklyn.

“I’m actually not trying to dispute what Brooklyn Beckham is saying, because obviously he has a lot of specifics here,” Litman said. “But just the positioning of it, and (Brooklyn’s statement about how) ‘I can no longer stay silent,’ is just so shockingly similar to Prince Harry. It’s not surprising to me that they had been spending time together.”

Dobbins said she thought it was “ill advised” for Brooklyn and Nicola to apparently copy Harry and Meghan’s tactics in breaking away from family. While Harry and Meghan initially celebrated their “freedom” in leaving royal life in 2020, and seemed to be cashing in on lucrative deals with Netflix, Spotify and Harry’s memoir, they don’t seem to be “winning” in their situation six years later, Dobbins said.

They no longer have their multimillion-dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify, and they may be struggling to earn enough money to fund their lavish life-style, according to reports. Dobbins pointed out that Brooklyn Beckham, on the other hand, will never been hard up for money as long as he stays married to Nicola Peltz, whose father is billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz.

“Nicola and Brooklyn don’t have to worry about money in the same way that Harry and Megan do, because it doesn’t seem like they’re estranged from the Peltz family,” Dobbins said.

Harry’s situation also is different from Brooklyn’s in another way.

The prince actually is trying to find a way to reconcile with his father, and perhaps with other members of his family. According to a recent Us Weekly report, Harry may have made a life for himself in Montecito with Meghan and their two young children, but he “remains torn between two worlds.”

Royal author Christopher Anderson told Us Weekly: “On one level, Harry is content in California.” But on another, he regrets that “neither he nor his children are sharing in their royal heritage.” Us Weekly also reported that Harry misses “the structure and purpose” he gained from having royal responsibilities. For that reason, he is looking for a way to spend more time in the U.K. and to even do some work for the royal family if needed — and if they will have him.

Former Prince Andrew reportedly has ”spies” within the Royal Palace, much to Kate Middleton’s concern. While King Charles fears a return of his ”arrogant” brother to public life, as Andrew has reportedly expressed a desire to find a new partner. And the same wish was reportedly expressed by his ex-wife Sarah.

This is what well-informed sources told Closer magazine, emphasizing that princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, Andrew’s daughters, are rallying around their father, who was forced to leave the residence where he had lived for 22 years.

“Andrew relies heavily on Beatrice and Eugenie to stay informed and involved” in royal life and ”the perception is that he uses them as ‘eyes and ears’ and, whether they are intentional spies or not, this is creating distrust,” the source states.

The result is that Kate, known for her calm public demeanor, is actually ”furious” behind palace doors. Without wanting to intervene with Beatrice and Eugenie, Kate does not want Andrew ”whispering in the background during royal decisions,” Closer writes.

“Make no mistake: Kate is a real force. She is kind and thoughtful, but she can also be ruthless. She is a true queen in the making,” explains the source quoted by the magazine.

“Kate’s anger goes beyond a matter of principle. She has worked hard to rebuild trust in the monarchy after years of scandals, and seeing Andrew ‘re-enter’ is like a slap in the face,” the source continues. According to Kate, in fact, not much has changed for the former prince after the Epstein scandal, as he shows ”the same sense of superiority.” King Charles, among others, is also reportedly ”concerned” by his brother’s and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson’s intentions to return to public life.

Kate “is deeply protective of William and their children, and she hates that this drama still hangs over the family as they try to build their future. William is patient, but this has tested him: Andrew was expected to quietly withdraw, and that hasn’t happened,” the Closer source continues. 

King Charles fears ”suffering further humiliations in the coming months” because, as a royal family source said, former Prince Andrew ”is talking about how he would like to start dating someone again.” So ”the royals are worried about what he might get up to once he starts behaving completely according to his own rules again. Instead of hiding and accepting the consequences as they hoped, the arrogance that brought him here is increasing.”

As for Sarah, the source quoted by Closer on condition of anonymity claims that according to the former Duchess: “There’s no reason why she can’t put herself back out there in the world and find a rich man who will make the rest of her days much easier. She has always had a certain charm that attracts powerful and wealthy men and, according to her, she hasn’t lost it.”

In any case, the National Examiner writes, the king wishes for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to be welcomed back into the royal family and believes that Kate should play a leading role in the reconciliation. And this ignoring the strained relationship between Kate and Meghan, which emerged during the marriage of the former Suits star to Harry in 2018, as the prince recounts in his memoir ‘Spare’ published in 2023.

“King Charles has asked Kate to do her part to bring them back – the source said.

He recognizes that the Sussexes have made many missteps, but he is willing to forgive them.” Referring to the cancer diagnosed in the king in 2024, the source added that “Charles is facing serious health problems while leading the monarchy and sincerely thinks that family infighting is ridiculous.”

In short, “according to King Charles, this drama has lasted long enough. He has no more patience,” the source added.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi recently opened up about something that is a scary reality for many women. The reality star and mom of three is facing an uncertain reality about possibly having cervical cancer. Polizzi, who is known for her brutal honesty, shared that she has been going through a series of medical procedures to determine if she may have the illness, which is scary enough. But she also got extremely vulnerable, revealing not just a fear of having cancer, but what she feels is the loss of a part of her womanhood. And honestly, her admissions are incredibly relatable. 

It feels fitting that Polizzi shared the emotional subject during a “get unready with me” video. As she wiped her makeup off, she revealed that like many other women, she doesn’t always prioritize her health. As a result, she often misses or skips doctors appointments, especially gynecological appointments.

I totally understand her hesitation; gynecologist appointments are the worst.

In her video, Polizzi explained that after a recent appointment, she turned to TikTok to see if there were women on the app talking about their experiences going through what she had gone through. She was surprised and delighted to find plenty of videos, and was hesitant to share her own. 

“This is gonna be my video. More for awareness, and to say thank you to all the women out there who did make videos about this. You’re making me feel seen, and there’s a community of women that are going through this,” she said.

Polizzi revealed that she’s had several irregular pap smears for “years.”

After her last few tests came back irregular, she had to have a colposcopy. For those who don’t know, it’s a type of biopsy done on your cervix. Typically, your doctor uses a tool that is kind of like a hole punch that removes a circular piece of cervical tissue.

Typically, you’re not put under anesthesia for this procedure, and it is painful and uncomfortable.

“I already hate regular pap smears to begin with,” Polizzi said. Of the colposcopy, she said, “it wasn’t a great experience.”

She had to have an additional biopsy, which came with a scary realization.

After the colposcopy, Polizzi’s doctor told her she’d have to undergo a cone biopsy because he found cancerous cells near the top of her cervix. It will give them a course of action if the doctor finds anything concerning. If they do, she may have to undergo a hysterectomy.

Hearing the word hysterectomy stirred up complicated feelings for her.

“I’m done having kids,” she admitted while tearing up. “But as a woman, the thought of getting a hysterectomy is sad and scary. The thought of not having kids is what’s killing me.”

But she said she’ll do “whatever” she needs to do to keep her healthy and safe for the kids she does have.

The comments were overwhelmingly positive.

“Love you! You got this,” her ‘Jersey Shore’ co-star Sammi Sweetheart wrote.

Lauren Sorrentino, wife of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, also commented, writing “Nicole, wish I could hug you through the phone 🫶🏼 thank you for sharing and I’m sending you much love and prayers.”

“Snooki if it comes down to a hysterectomy let me tell you, it was the best thing I ever did. I got energy back I didn’t know I had, lost weight, and feel like a new woman! Put it in God’s hands. He knows what’s best!” a commenter wrote.

Another user wrote “i. went through. this exact. same. thing. WOWW. thank you sooo much for sharing this seriously ugh wish i could hug you.”

“Thank you for this video. ❤️This is LITERALLY my sign to get checked. Since it’s been two years I’ve gone. Just like you I hate these type of appointments.😭 You are a strong by momma!” someone else wrote.

According to multiple outlets, the comment appeared under one of Ms. Rachel’s posts, and screenshots spread quickly after people noticed her verified account had liked it. Cue outrage, confusion, and the kind of online chaos that makes you wonder why we ever invented comment sections in the first place.

In response, Ms. Rachel posted a video apology where she looked visibly upset.

In her response, she said she was actually trying to delete the antisemitic comment — not endorse it — and accidentally hit “like” instead. She insisted she would never agree with something like that and said she regularly removes hate from her page.

She also stressed that she has Jewish family and friends, said she “hates antisemitism,” and apologized for the hurt and confusion. She framed the situation as a very human mistake — the kind of thing that can happen when you’re tapping too fast, scrolling too far, and honestly just trying to survive the internet like the rest of us.

“Obviously the like and hiding was just tapping and thought it was deleted,” she wrote in a caption alongside the screenshot. “This is from yesterday. People are allowed to make mistakes. I am super sorry for any confusion it caused.”

Ms. Rachel has previously been criticized for her outspoken posts about the war in Gaza.

She has been targeted by advocacy group StopAntisemitism for her activism in support of Palestinian children and families ravaged by the war.

“I delete antisemitism ANY time I see it,” she shared. “I am against all forms of hate including antisemitism against the Jewish people.” In a follow-up post on Threads, Accurso chalked the incident up to technical confusion and high emotions, ending her statement with: “I’m just not going to engage with comments or have them on.”

Ivanka Trump has had quite the eventful start to 2026. In a rare move, the first daughter has posted a handful of times on Instagram, starting with a New Year’s family ski vacation in Aspen. The 44-year-old mother of three has also been out and about at home, sharing snapshots from a local food drive.

On Friday, the first daughter showed up at the North Miami Police Department through a partnership with Planet Harvest, a nonprofit she cofounded that doles out farmers’ excess crops to families in need.

“It was a meaningful way to begin the new year by expanding access to healthy food where support is needed most,” the Indian Creek Village resident wrote.

Trump even jumped on the viral trend of sharing memories from a decade ago while pregnant with her youngest, Theodore. She and husband Jared Kushner are also parents to Arabella, 14, and Joseph, 12.

“Looking back to 2016!” said the caption, along with a carousel of pics, including some of the ex-White House advisor cradling her baby bump as well as stumping on the campaign trail for her father, President Donald Trump, who won in November of that year for the first time.

Putting yourself out there as a public, not to mention polarizing, political figure and leaving the comments on carries its share of risks.

“Shame shame shame shame shame shame,” wrote one critic who eschewed all punctuation.

“Wow, must be nice to be tone deaf,” sniped another. “The world is burning but let’s admire your 2016.”

There were at least a few positive commenters in the mix; e.g., “Just because there are several situations at hand in the world does not mean you cannot post beautiful pictures.”

Interestingly, Trump didn’t upload a static post of her attending Monday night’s Indiana Hoosiers vs. Miami Hurricanes national championship game at Hard Rock Stadium with her father in a bulletproof booth.

Doesn’t seem like she wanted her moment in the, um, sun. Inexplicably, she was wearing big black sunglasses the whole time.

Under an X with a picture of her with POTUS behind glass, a social media user asked the Internet why she was donning shades at 7:30 p.m. Some people assumed it was due to “Botox” or a “recent facelift.”

“I bet she’s had some work done.”

Or maybe she’s accustomed to paparazzi prying eyes and didn’t want to give away whom she was rooting for — UM or IU.

After initial outrage from critics about using a surrogate for her third child, Meghan Trainor set the record straight with People. The singer, who also shared two sons with husband Daryl Sabara, told the outlet that it was necessary to use a surrogate in order to continue to grow her family. Regardless of why, though, people had a lot to say.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) called out Meghan for choosing surrogacy and wrote in a post that they believe “surrogacy is human trafficking.” Another person wrote that “she had to buy a baby from a less privileged woman.” Clearly, there was plenty of animosity toward Meghan following the news. Now, she had publicly shared why she chose a surrogate.

In Meghan’s Instagram post where she announced the arrival of her daughter, she wrote in the caption, “We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.” But what does that mean, exactly? That’s what many were asking as others continued to share their very candid thoughts on social media about Meghan using a surrogate after carrying her other two children herself.

Meghan told People the same thing, that her doctors agreed it was the safest option for her to have another child. She also said that, while it wasn’t hers or Daryl’s “first choice,” they are grateful to the surrogate they worked with throughout the entire pregnancy and journey to add another child to their family.

“I want people to know that surrogacy is just another beautiful way to build a family. It’s not something to whisper about or judge. It’s rooted in trust, science, love, and teamwork,” Meghan said. “Every family’s journey looks different, and all of them are extremely valid.”

Before Meghan and Daryl welcomed their third child via surrogacy, Meghan was open about being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, after the birth of one of her kids. She was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes with one of her pregnancies. Having a traumatic birth story is something plenty of moms can relate to, and whether or not that was why Meghan chose to use a surrogate the third time, she hasn’t shared that as one of her reasons.

And, after Meghan spoke with People, it didn’t clear much up for some of her harsher critics.

“Meghan Trainor should’ve just kept that in the camera roll,” one person posted on X. “Everything ain’t meant to be shared. Now the internet is tearing her ass up and rightfully so. I’m sure the surrogate for her baby was a poor woman of color.”

Meghan and her husband, Daryl Sabara, posted about the birth of their son on Instagram on Jan. 20, 2026 and announced that their third child was born on Jan. 18. The post included photos of Meghan holding their daughter right after she was born and pictures of the couple’s older two kids meeting their little sister for the first time. OK great, all good. But people did not love the caption, the lack of more references to the surrogate, and, last but not least, the name they chose.

Yeah, people aren’t wild about Meghan Trainor’s baby name choice.

Meghan wrote in her Instagram post that she and Daryl opted to name their daughter Mikey Moon Trainor. Hey, I can accept most baby names, and my own kids’ names aren’t exactly from a baby book. But people really aren’t into Meghan’s choice for her third child and only daughter. And as far as Meghan’s kids’ names go, before her daughter, she was pretty neutral with the names. Her other kids are Riley and Barry.

In a Reddit thread about how much people cannot stand Meghan’s baby name choice, one user commented that, in retrospect, Riley got off easy.

“It’s like they just put a bunch of totally random names in a hat, closed their eyes, and grabbed one,” they wrote. I mean, it’s not not like that.

Someone else came at her with, “All that money for a surrogate and you name it…Mikey Moon.”

Others pointed out that, traditionally, Mikey is seen as a name for a boy, in that it would be short for Michael. That alone has some people miffed about the name choice.

“And Michaela was right there,” another user commented on the thread. “Like, why not name her Michaela, and then just call her Mikey as a nickname? At least then the kid has the option to use Michaela as she gets older!”

Another user added, “Imagine waiting so long for your little girl, dreaming about it. Then — record scratch — naming her Mikey.” It’s giving, “Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I got here,” with a close-up on the baby’s face.

Meghan Trainor haters are also dogging on her for using a surrogate.

The commentary around Meghan’s baby does not end with her name choice, though to be fair, people will probably be talking about that every chance they get. Other critics of the “All About That Bass” singer pointed out that she used a surrogate for her third baby, a first for her. Some wondered why she used one, while others shared their thoughts on her potentially unnecessarily using a surrogate.

Meghan wrote in her Instagram announcement that doctors said it was the safest way for her to have another child. But, someone pointed out in that same baby name Reddit thread, “It’s always going to be safer for mom for someone else to carry their child. Celebrities can just afford it.”

On another Reddit post about the birth of Meghan’s baby, someone claimed to know “there’s no medical reason” Meghan couldn’t carry the child herself. That’s not really for anyone to decide, or even know, except for Meghan herself. But people have continued to discuss it on social media.

Someone else on the thread wrote, “Honestly, it kinda grosses me out when a woman can get pregnant and not at high risk, but still chooses to use a surrogate. Especially when they’re doing it for vanity reasons, it just seems very exploitative.”

Meghan has not publicly shared more details about why she chose a surrogate.
