Not one to be outdone by anyone in the MAGA circle, including Donald Trump himself, Erika Kirk pledged to match $1,000 per Trump Account for the children of Turning Point USA employees. The accounts, which were announced by the U.S. Department of Treasury, offer index investment accounts for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028 with an automatic $1,000 deposit from the U.S. government.

The time frame is, of course, in direct correlation with Trump’s second term in the White House. The idea is that, by the time these children retire, these investments will have grown to around $500,000 at least. Now, Erika revealed on X (formerly Twitter), she is offering money to children too, but they have to be part of the Turning Point USA family. Duh.

On Jan. 28, 2026, Erika shared her X post to announce her plans as the CEO of Turning Point USA to stand with Trump and the Trump Accounts for children in the U.S. She wrote about the importance of family to her and late husband Charlie Kirk and shared her plans to help invest in the futures of children herself. Did she start to feel irrelevant or something? She needed attention this badly? Alright, then.

While some responded to the X post to praise Erika and her plans to help invest in the children of her employees, others took the chance to pounce on her for the inconsistencies they see in her choices in the wake of husband Charlie’s death.

“He also spoke so often of stay at home moms and how important it is for the children and the future of our country to have stay at home moms,” one user wrote, and some echoed the sentiment.

Someone else added, “Well since you fired most of them, this won’t cost much.” This is in reference to claims from Candace Owens that the organization fired multiple employees despite an alleged family first mentality.

“Why are you announcing this on X and not just sending a company email lol…You guys are so obvious with the damage control,” another user responded.

As Prince Harry testified in a London Court Wednesday, January, 28, 2026, getting tearful about “the misery” his wife, Meghan Markle, suffered at the hands of negative coverage by the Daily Mail, that U.K. tabloid and other publications were questioning whether he and Meghan had a role in Brooklyn Beckham’s decision to publicly lambast his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and to blow up his relationship with them.

So, no one is saying that Harry and Meghan actively encouraged their young friend, Brooklyn Beckham, to launch a social media tirade against his father and mother Monday — in which he said he had no wish to reconcile with them while accusing them of “controlling” him his entire life and of trying to ruin his marriage to Nicola Peltz.

But multiple publications have addressed the growing friendship between the California-based Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the younger celebrity couple. And, they noted the obvious similarities in the “narratives” of Harry and Brooklyn.

Forty-one-year-old Harry, like 26-year-old Brooklyn, became estranged from his prominent British family after marrying a glamorous American actress, whom he claims received a cold welcome. Harry, like Brooklyn, also decamped to the United States in an effort to get away from a global family brand that he found oppressive. Moreover, Harry, like Brooklyn, wanted to establish his own identity and path to financial self-sufficiency. At the same time, both Harry and Brooklyn have chosen to air their grievances against their families in the most sensational way possible.

It was widely reported in May that Brooklyn and Nicola were becoming friendly with Harry and Meghan. People and other outlets described how the two couples hung out together at a dinner party in the Sussexes’ hometown of Montecito, amid “tensions” with Brooklyn’s family. A source told People: “Brooklyn and Nicola had a wonderful time and found Harry and Meghan to be particularly kind, caring and generous.”

Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan asked on Wednesday whether “nepo baby” Brooklyn “sought counsel on how to most effectively publicly humiliate your family of origin” when he and Nicola met up with Harry and Meghan at the dinner party. She also noted that Harry has “some skin in the game” after experiencing a reported falling-out with David and Victoria Beckham after they were among the celebrity guests at his May 2018 royal wedding. Harry apparently accused the Beckhams of leaking stories about Meghan to the media, according to reports.

At the same time, David Beckham’s friendship with Harry’s father, King Charles has grown, with the former Manchester United soccer legend being “a staunch monarchist,” and the two patriarchs bonding over shared their interests in gardening and philanthropy, InStyle reported. In November, Charles rewarded Beckham for his loyalty to the U.K. — and maybe to him personally — with a knighthood. Charles himself performed the ceremony at Windsor Castle, which Sir David Beckham said was “my proudest moment.”

Now, in the wake of Brooklyn’s bombshell Instagram post, celebrity journalist and gossip columnist Rob Shuter reported on his Naughty but Nice Substack that Harry had indeed “quietly stepped into an unexpected mentoring role” for the young man, as he’s tried to navigate his estrangement from his family.

“Harry sees a lot of himself in Brooklyn,” an insider told Shuter, saying that Harry had given Brooklyn “personal and professional” advice.

According to multiple sources, Harry urged Brooklyn to proceed with caution, and to think carefully “about timing and tone” if he chose to make a public statement about his family dynamics. As Harry advised Brooklyn to protect his mental health, he also said: “Don’t burn everything at once. You only get one chance to tell your story the right way.”

Maybe Brooklyn was ready to “burn everything at once,” as Shuter also reported that Harry had put him in touch with the publisher of his controversial memoir, “Spare.” In apparently suggesting that the Beckhams’ oldest son could write his own tell-all, Harry also advised that “honesty works best when it’s controlled, thoughtful, and human.”

People will debate whether Harry’s memoir — about growing up as the second son of King Charles and the late Princess Diana and the younger brother of Prince William — was honest, controlled or thoughtful. Amanda Dobbins and Juliet Litman of The Ringer Dish podcast also questioned whether Brooklyn’s scorched-earth attack on his parents will ultimately bring him the personal peace and satisfaction he apparently seeks.

Dobbins and Litman also brought up “the similarity” in the narratives of Harry and Brooklyn.

“I’m actually not trying to dispute what Brooklyn Beckham is saying, because obviously he has a lot of specifics here,” Litman said. “But just the positioning of it, and (Brooklyn’s statement about how) ‘I can no longer stay silent,’ is just so shockingly similar to Prince Harry. It’s not surprising to me that they had been spending time together.”

Dobbins said she thought it was “ill advised” for Brooklyn and Nicola to apparently copy Harry and Meghan’s tactics in breaking away from family. While Harry and Meghan initially celebrated their “freedom” in leaving royal life in 2020, and seemed to be cashing in on lucrative deals with Netflix, Spotify and Harry’s memoir, they don’t seem to be “winning” in their situation six years later, Dobbins said.

They no longer have their multimillion-dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify, and they may be struggling to earn enough money to fund their lavish life-style, according to reports. Dobbins pointed out that Brooklyn Beckham, on the other hand, will never been hard up for money as long as he stays married to Nicola Peltz, whose father is billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz.

“Nicola and Brooklyn don’t have to worry about money in the same way that Harry and Megan do, because it doesn’t seem like they’re estranged from the Peltz family,” Dobbins said.

Harry’s situation also is different from Brooklyn’s in another way.

The prince actually is trying to find a way to reconcile with his father, and perhaps with other members of his family. According to a recent Us Weekly report, Harry may have made a life for himself in Montecito with Meghan and their two young children, but he “remains torn between two worlds.”

Royal author Christopher Anderson told Us Weekly: “On one level, Harry is content in California.” But on another, he regrets that “neither he nor his children are sharing in their royal heritage.” Us Weekly also reported that Harry misses “the structure and purpose” he gained from having royal responsibilities. For that reason, he is looking for a way to spend more time in the U.K. and to even do some work for the royal family if needed — and if they will have him.

Which is why the internet is currently having an absolute meltdown after Ms. Rachel (real name Rachel Accurso) issued a tearful apology for what she says was an accidental Instagram “like” on a comment that read: “Free America from the Jews.”

According to multiple outlets, the comment appeared under one of Ms. Rachel’s posts, and screenshots spread quickly after people noticed her verified account had liked it. Cue outrage, confusion, and the kind of online chaos that makes you wonder why we ever invented comment sections in the first place.

In response, Ms. Rachel posted a video apology where she looked visibly upset.

In her response, she said she was actually trying to delete the antisemitic comment — not endorse it — and accidentally hit “like” instead. She insisted she would never agree with something like that and said she regularly removes hate from her page.

She also stressed that she has Jewish family and friends, said she “hates antisemitism,” and apologized for the hurt and confusion. She framed the situation as a very human mistake — the kind of thing that can happen when you’re tapping too fast, scrolling too far, and honestly just trying to survive the internet like the rest of us.

“Obviously the like and hiding was just tapping and thought it was deleted,” she wrote in a caption alongside the screenshot. “This is from yesterday. People are allowed to make mistakes. I am super sorry for any confusion it caused.”

Ms. Rachel has previously been criticized for her outspoken posts about the war in Gaza.

She has been targeted by advocacy group StopAntisemitism for her activism in support of Palestinian children and families ravaged by the war.

“I delete antisemitism ANY time I see it,” she shared. “I am against all forms of hate including antisemitism against the Jewish people.” In a follow-up post on Threads, Accurso chalked the incident up to technical confusion and high emotions, ending her statement with: “I’m just not going to engage with comments or have them on.”

Ivanka Trump has had quite the eventful start to 2026. In a rare move, the first daughter has posted a handful of times on Instagram, starting with a New Year’s family ski vacation in Aspen. The 44-year-old mother of three has also been out and about at home, sharing snapshots from a local food drive.

On Friday, the first daughter showed up at the North Miami Police Department through a partnership with Planet Harvest, a nonprofit she cofounded that doles out farmers’ excess crops to families in need.

“It was a meaningful way to begin the new year by expanding access to healthy food where support is needed most,” the Indian Creek Village resident wrote.

Trump even jumped on the viral trend of sharing memories from a decade ago while pregnant with her youngest, Theodore. She and husband Jared Kushner are also parents to Arabella, 14, and Joseph, 12.

“Looking back to 2016!” said the caption, along with a carousel of pics, including some of the ex-White House advisor cradling her baby bump as well as stumping on the campaign trail for her father, President Donald Trump, who won in November of that year for the first time.

Putting yourself out there as a public, not to mention polarizing, political figure and leaving the comments on carries its share of risks.

“Shame shame shame shame shame shame,” wrote one critic who eschewed all punctuation.

“Wow, must be nice to be tone deaf,” sniped another. “The world is burning but let’s admire your 2016.”

There were at least a few positive commenters in the mix; e.g., “Just because there are several situations at hand in the world does not mean you cannot post beautiful pictures.”

Interestingly, Trump didn’t upload a static post of her attending Monday night’s Indiana Hoosiers vs. Miami Hurricanes national championship game at Hard Rock Stadium with her father in a bulletproof booth.

Doesn’t seem like she wanted her moment in the, um, sun. Inexplicably, she was wearing big black sunglasses the whole time.

Under an X with a picture of her with POTUS behind glass, a social media user asked the Internet why she was donning shades at 7:30 p.m. Some people assumed it was due to “Botox” or a “recent facelift.”

“I bet she’s had some work done.”

Or maybe she’s accustomed to paparazzi prying eyes and didn’t want to give away whom she was rooting for — UM or IU.

After initial outrage from critics about using a surrogate for her third child, Meghan Trainor set the record straight with People. The singer, who also shared two sons with husband Daryl Sabara, told the outlet that it was necessary to use a surrogate in order to continue to grow her family. Regardless of why, though, people had a lot to say.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) called out Meghan for choosing surrogacy and wrote in a post that they believe “surrogacy is human trafficking.” Another person wrote that “she had to buy a baby from a less privileged woman.” Clearly, there was plenty of animosity toward Meghan following the news. Now, she had publicly shared why she chose a surrogate.

In Meghan’s Instagram post where she announced the arrival of her daughter, she wrote in the caption, “We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.” But what does that mean, exactly? That’s what many were asking as others continued to share their very candid thoughts on social media about Meghan using a surrogate after carrying her other two children herself.

Meghan told People the same thing, that her doctors agreed it was the safest option for her to have another child. She also said that, while it wasn’t hers or Daryl’s “first choice,” they are grateful to the surrogate they worked with throughout the entire pregnancy and journey to add another child to their family.

“I want people to know that surrogacy is just another beautiful way to build a family. It’s not something to whisper about or judge. It’s rooted in trust, science, love, and teamwork,” Meghan said. “Every family’s journey looks different, and all of them are extremely valid.”

Before Meghan and Daryl welcomed their third child via surrogacy, Meghan was open about being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, after the birth of one of her kids. She was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes with one of her pregnancies. Having a traumatic birth story is something plenty of moms can relate to, and whether or not that was why Meghan chose to use a surrogate the third time, she hasn’t shared that as one of her reasons.

And, after Meghan spoke with People, it didn’t clear much up for some of her harsher critics.

“Meghan Trainor should’ve just kept that in the camera roll,” one person posted on X. “Everything ain’t meant to be shared. Now the internet is tearing her ass up and rightfully so. I’m sure the surrogate for her baby was a poor woman of color.”

Parents were quick to point out that this scenario assumes criminals are roaming suburban sidewalks waiting to strike — and that they are somehow specifically emboldened by ergonomic baby wraps. Many noted that if a criminal were truly casing a family, the dad confidently walking around with a baby Velcroed to his torso might actually be the least appealing target.

(Hard to flee a crime scene when a man is already carrying a human shield of bodily fluids, snacks, and unpredictable screaming.)

LOLOLOLOL.

But seriously, let’s keep our weird thoughts to ourselves.

Others gently reminded the original poster that babies are, in fact, not optional accessories that can simply be set down in case of emergency like a gym bag. If danger strikes, most parents aren’t thinking, “Ah yes, my combat stance,” but rather, “Protect the baby at all costs.” Which, coincidentally, is exactly what baby-wearing is designed to do. Secure the infant. Keep hands mostly free. Avoid dropping said infant during chaos. Revolutionary stuff.

Ultimately, the thread became less about personal safety and more about the internet’s enduring talent for inventing problems where none exist. Because if dads had to choose between bonding with their newborns and preparing for a hypothetical action-movie ambush in the frozen foods aisle, most parents would still pick the carrier.

Criminals may come and go — but a well-snuggled baby, peacefully snoozing on dad’s chest? That’s a threat no one is prepared for.

In a video you’d swear was sarcastic but is apparently genuine rage bait, a stay-at-home dad wonders—out loud and publicly—why stay-at-home moms complain, because being a stay-at-home parent is so easy! It’s the kind of video where you’re waiting for the punchline because surely this man doesn’t have a death wish in 2025, but alas—he’s dead serious. And worse, many dads have his back in the comments.

“To all the stay-at-home moms, I feel like you’re lying,” begins TikTok user @cassandrian. “Because of what I do for work I can still stay at home and pay all the bills, and my wife will have to go to work to make her money. And I have a one-year-old daughter.”

He goes on to describe how simple it is to feed her, change her, and let her take her scheduled naps. This is also known as “meeting her basic needs,” which is the bare minimum parents are legally required to do, but I digress.

“I can still make sure the place is clean,” he continues, patting himself on the back. “I can make sure the whole apartment is clean, while watching her, before 12.”

Oh, okay dude, sure…

Let’s start off by addressing the fact that he’s caring for one child, who is only a year old. Caring for a 1-year-old can be manageable for some people, in some circumstances, sure. But one person’s experience doesn’t cancel out the realities of millions of parents—especially those juggling multiple kids, postpartum recovery, mental load, lack of support, or financial stress. Just because something is easy for one person doesn’t mean it’s easy for everyone.

Secondly, dads are held to the lowest possible standard on earth. Women are expected to be perfect.

The problem isn’t whether one dad finds staying home easy. It’s dismissing women by calling them liars instead of recognizing that parenting labor is shaped by sleep deprivation, recovery from birth, societal expectations, and unequal mental load. And he neglects to mention how he shows up for his wife—is her dinner on the table when she gets home? Is her laundry done? Are her needs met the way she expects them to be met?

The comments section is full of men just as insufferable as the creator, unfortunately.

“I was stay at home dad for 5 years w 3 kids. Easiest job I ever had. Cooked, cleaned, laundry, clean sheets every week, hiking, beach, sidewalk chalk, diapers, music anytime I wanted, it was like vacation every day,” one guy says.

“The excuses are insane. I was laid off for 6 months with 2 kids. Easiest 6 months of my life,” says another.

Please take your “truth” and keep those thoughts to yourself.

There is a certain kind of delusional confidence that only comes from confusing your own limited experience with universal truth. Enter the man who announced that being a stay-at-home parent is “easy,” and that moms must be lying—because he, personally, finds it manageable while caring for his one-year-old daughter. Congrats. Add in an infant and a couple of pets, then talk to the rest of us.

Declaring motherhood “easy” because one man is having a decent time with a toddler isn’t brave honesty—it’s the loud confidence of someone who has never been required to think beyond himself. Godspeed to this man’s wife, because UGH.

And this viral TikTok that lightly plays on baby names is both hilarious and eerily accurate.

“Bananagrams but the category is white people baby names,” reads the on-screen caption of a video shared by Jackie Mustian on TikTok, where two women are playing a brilliant version of Bananagrams.

“My first name is for twins, of someone who’s really into shopping on SHEIN,” one of the players says. “It’s Rayon and Nylon.”

See? Brilliant. Oh, the fun you could have doing this. The options are endless.

“Mine is more of a Northern take on ‘Topanga’ from ‘Boy Meets World,'” Player number two shares. “And that’s Toboggan.”

All you have to do is literally just…open the internet and you’re immediately overwhelmed with white influencers as it is. Once they all start having babies (cough, looking at you, Utah moms), it’s become almost a universal guessing game about what an influencer will name their baby. Why? Because it’s never normal. It’s not even unique. More often than not, the names people come up with are just utterly and completely batshit. Enough so that you immediately feel a pang of empathy for the poor kid who has to carry that moniker for the rest of their lives.

And it’s not even just influencers—Brittany and Patrick Mahomes named their three children Golden, Bronze, and Sterling. Like, for real.

“This one is for people who just always have plans, and that’s Bizi,” says one woman in the viral video. Other Bananagram names include: Bestos (vintage, for people who love infested buildings), Nokia (for any Gen Z-ers who want to pay homage to the flip phone unironically) and Ova. Short for Ovum or Ovary, duh.

“This is just Utah,” one commenter shares.

“I lost it when you said Toboggan,” says another.

“Stop because I make personalized Christmas ornaments and these are very close to ones I’ve actually written….” shares another commenter. LOL.

As Sean “Diddy” Combs waits to learn where he’ll spend his 50-month federal prison sentence, the rapper reportedly told his toddler daughter in a heartbreaking phone call that he wasn’t coming home as soon as either of them hoped.

The disgraced hip-hop mogul was speaking with Dana Tran — the mother of 2-year-old Love — from the Metropolitan Detention Center on Sunday, when Tran put their child on the phone, sources told TMZ.

When Love asked her father where he was and when she could see him, insiders said Diddy told her: “Daddy’s away for a little while.”

“I miss you and love you very much, Love,” Combs apparently said, fighting back tears.

The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper announced the arrival of Love Sean Combs on Dec. 10, 2022, though she was born nearly two months earlier. She’ll turn 3 next Wednesday.

“I’m so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world,” he tweeted at the time. “Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D’Lila, Jessie and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!”

Love, Diddy’s youngest of seven children, reportedly lives in Los Angeles with Tran, a cybersecurity professional, industrial specialist and model. Sources told TMZ that the last time Diddy saw Love outside of prison was in August of last year, roughly a month before he was arrested by the feds in Midtown Manhattan.

Following a high-profile trial that ended in early July, the 55-year-old rapper was sentenced to just over four years in prison — with credit for time served — after a jury convicted him on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He evaded a potential life sentence when he was acquitted on the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

Combs is currently still at Brooklyn’s MDC, where he’s been held since his arrest, pending the Bureau of Prisons’ decision on where he should serve his bid.

His lawyers filed a request on Monday for him to do his time at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Hanover Township, New Jersey, known for its drug rehabilitation and educational programs.

‘s dad, Joe Bryant, has died at the age of 69. The exact date of his passing is unknown at this time. La Salle University head coach Fran Dunphy told the Philadelphia Inquirer that Joe recently suffered a massive stroke.

La Salle went on to announce Joe’s death on X. Joe’s impressive basketball career began at Bartram High School, continued at La Salle, and ultimately lead to the NBA. Joe then guided Kobe on a similar journey.
